Dr. D’Urso then entered the Doctoral program in Counselor Education and Supervision at Florida Atlantic University in 2020, earning a 4.0 cumulative GPA and publishing his dissertation on 12-step knowledge and opioid use disorder counseling. Dr. D’Urso has worked in the substance use treatment space since 2015 and recently celebrated 10 years of sustained recovery. Dr. D’Urso believes it his life’s purpose to assist his fellow human beings with mental wellness, abstinence from alcohol and drugs, and building a life worth living, aligned with their core values. Alina Nejadian is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Alina has provided 16+ years of psychotherapy services and has been in the mental health field for over 18 years. She has served in various settings and populations.
