This placed saved my life. I highly recommend to anyone struggling with addiction and need a safe place to heal and grow. the staff is great. the program is solid. and I owe my life to this place. Early in recovery can be a very challenging thing to navigate; Feelings and emotions run ramped while the mind and body clears itself from any and all mind altering substances. For me it was an extremely difficult time of my life and the staff at Renaissance, Specifically A.J. My case manager was a pivotal and integral part of that healing process. AJ made that journey possible and provided a safe and structured environment for me to freely express and explore my thoughts and emotions. I would do anything for AJ and I fully respect his shoe collection and fashion sense. We are not a glum lot, we have a lot of fun in recovery but underneath it all there's deadly earnestness. AJ reminds me that there is a new life worth living beyond the struggles and heartache of addiction. Huge shoutout to Carey My Sister and amazing case manager at Renaisance as well as my love and respect for Valanda my therapist. Our talks were solid AF and that dude brought me to my knees everytime we Met. Be well family and I'll see you all on the other side as we trudge the road to happy destiny. I just graduated from this facility, and I can genuinely say I’m going to miss it—which is something I definitely didn’t think I’d be saying when I first walked through the doors. It’s very group-oriented, and somehow a bunch of strangers quickly turn into people you laugh with, cry with, and probably know way too much about by the end. The staff inside the building are what really make this place special. They genuinely care about you, check in on you, celebrate your wins, and make you feel more like family than just another client. Definitely grateful for everyone who was part of my time here.

Carey started working with Rory just after Rory relapsed after residential treatment in December and 3-4 months living clean at Rennaissance.  Carey worked enthusiastically and energetically with Rory to get her to start attending AA or NA meetings and get a sponsor.  Carey truly made a positive impact for the better I. Sending my son from Texas to California for treatment was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made as a mother. Being so far away was scary, but from the beginning, his case worker gave me peace of mind and made me feel like my son was truly in good hands. For the past 9 months, his case worker has kept me updated every single week and never missed a beat. We were always on the same page, and I truly felt like we were a team working toward the same goal—helping my son succeed and maintain his sobriety. He listened to my concerns, kept me informed, and always made me feel that my role as his mother mattered. He also did an incredible job holding my son accountable while giving him the support and encouragement he needed. I have watched my son flourish, mature, and become a completely different person. This program has provided him with counseling, meetings, transportation, structure, accountability, and support every step of the way. I truly believe this was the best decision my son could have ever made for himself. As a mother, I am incredibly grateful to the entire team, but especially his case worker. The recovery center has very helpful groups and facilitators who develop an appropriate relationship with the clients to where you feel comfortable sharing in the groups and being open and vulnerable. I enjoy that after lunch the groups are separated by gender which allows for the groups to be even more open and vulnerable. I felt like my case manager and therapist were taking care of my needs and were open to meeting with me on my own accord as well, in addition to our weekly meetings. My case manager and therapist made sure I have a well developed relapse prevention plan for when I discharged.

Renaissance has provided me with the best clinical support I have ever had, Lydia, Rabi, Judith, Dr Shelley, Craig and Henry have changed my life. I had amazing housing in an awesome set up, with fantastic techs. Vanessa my case manager is freaking great, set me up with housing when I left. Dr. Matt, Richie, Nick, Tony, James, Tommie and Ms. Elaine are amazing. I have never been to a place where the directors actually care, have an open door policy and motivate me to succeed. I have been given a safe place free from drugs and alcohol, with a team of people to help me psychiatrically and clinically to work through the 12 steps with my sponsor. As I stayed here longer I was granted more freedom to go into society, work and develop an amazing support system. I have never been happier at a treatment center. This is my 4th time through and my last. I'm not coming back unless I'm working at one. Treatment here helped me gain self respect, and it made me be able to see myself having a long, sober, happy life. It also challenged me because there were many times that I wanted to leave, as well as personality clashes, but it taught me to give others and myself grace and to not judge a book by its cover. The staff here were very helpful, especially my case manager and therapists. I made long term friends here who have similar interests and goals as myself, which helped a lot along the way. The house I lived in was beautiful and my house manager was very supportive and helped me gain and practice every day life skills. I had an amazing experience working with my case manager the last couple months of my treatment at Renaissance Recovery. She saved my life after my relapse. I was in a dark place and she showed me the way out through her kindness, compassion, and understanding. She held me accountable when I needed to be, forced me to be honest with myself, and encouraged me to be the best version of me. I grew into the person I am meant to be under all of the pain, addiction, and trauma.She is more than a case manager—she is an incredible mentor and advocate who will literally and figuratively hold your hand on the recovery journey and walk with you toward freedom and healing. I could not have gotten through this process without her support. If you have felt misunderstood, abandoned, angry, shameful, or guilty, you will find your path out of this with her as your case manager. I cannot praise and recommend her more. One must be realistic about mental health and substance abuse treatment centers and the experience you may walk into, as well as sober living. There is a spectrum of rehabilitation centers and they fall into either a positive or negative category. There are those who are genuinely concerned about you and your journey or there are those that don't. I have experienced some bad ones. Renaissance is not one of them. Their sober livings are great. They hold you accountable and provide a safe environment to grow in. Their IOP track for mental health was just what I needed. One must always remember that you have to be your own advocate and accept responsibility for doing the right thing. If you embrace the concept of WILLINGNESS and drop your negativeness you have a good chance. They were very diligent about creating a solid aftercare program to follow. Both my therapist and case manager were excellent.Now it's up to me to continue the process. I really enjoyed the staff and clients but hopefully I will not be coming back. Follow the suggestions and you will have a fighting chance. Good luck to all who are struggling. There is hope! Never give up.

I’ve been to multiple treatment centers and I can honestly say no other program has ever truly addressed the core issues of which my addiction is just a symptom. In both 1 on 1 therapy and group sessions I was able to address childhood traumas that were behind many of my destructive behaviors. Everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure I was informed and updated every step of the way along the process. I have dealt with nothing but wonderful, caring people from the Admission Coordinator to the Case Managers at the facility. Although my loved one was far away from home, I was comforted in knowing that they were receiving the best care possible. After having spent 30 days in detox at Gratitude Lodge in Long Beach, I transferred to intensive outpatient treatment at Renaissance, an unbelievable experience to be sure.  The staff and the group facilitators were kind and compassionate, as well as extremely knowledgeable regarding addiction science, recovery and relapse prevention.  Tomorrow will mark my 94th day of sobriety from alcohol, and I will be leaving the facility; it is somewhat bittersweet because I have met so many amazing people and have forged friendships with the other clients that will last a lifetime.   My case manager, as well as my therapist, were absolutely invaluable! If you are considering a program after detox, then I cannot recommend strongly enough Renaissance recovery. It is truly life-changing!  Now, I am totally stoked when I get up in the morning, and can't wait to see what God will do next!

My experience here has been truly transformative, and I'm grateful for the incredible support I've received from the entire team. I thought the program was the problem, but after a while I realized the issue was me. I just wasn’t ready to be sober yet. This place has a lot of structure and rules and tbh I hated it but now looking back, I’m really glad it’s like that because it helped save my life. I pushed back on a lot of the suggestions they gave me, but eventually I started listening. I got a sponsor, went to meetings, showed up to groups, gained a sober fellowship, and opened up to mu therapist and case manager. All the staff pushed me when I needed it, and I know they truly wanted the best for me. If you need structure, want real recovery, and people that tells you how it is, then this is the place to be. I found a support network within the program that made my sobriety journey easier. I am grateful because I believe in myself I am going on 90 days. It may not sound much but that’s a huge accomplishment for me. The staff were very resourceful. I struggled with my emotions and my therapist helped me come out of my shell. My cm Carey was on point and on top of everything. She made sure I had all my appointments, assisted with my medical needs before returning home and completed all my FMLA paperwork. I appreciate her. She went above and beyond. The sober living was well maintained house. It reminded me to do things as a team gave and me a lot of structure. shout out to my house manager Reuben. He took us to meetings and made sure we had fun on weekends. Thank you Renaissance for being my stepping stone.

It definitely wasn’t easy, but looking back it was one of the best choices I’ve ever made for myself. While I was there, I was able to start building a real foundation for a life in recovery. The staff were very welcoming, which helped me feel more comfortable over time. The groups ended up helping me a lot, even though it took me a little while to open up. I also got to work 1 on 1 with my therapist and case manager. They helped me slowly let my guard down and start working through things. My therapist helped me learn more about my mental health, and my case manager helped me with things like setting up doctor appointments, working on my FMLA, and planning for discharge. Nick always made me feel heard , he always checks on everyone , he's really great . And for the people who work here as a whole , they literally loved me until I could love myself and even still . Came to renaissance recovery for php and iop and has been the most humbling and inspiring experience. The staff and techs really care for the clients and wanting to see us succeed. The community is unmatched from any other facility. From therapist, case managers even the director staff they all genuinely care for the clients. They treat you like family and definitely meet you where you’re at. From Saturday outings to meetings and even the facilitators. It’s generally a great community to continue your sobriety and recovery journey. They also offer great community building opportunities from kickball to flag football and dodgeball.

Carey is a fantastic case manager and made sure I had everything I needed while I was here regarding treatment, living situation, letters to my employer and other agencies, and most importantly made me feel comfortable and that I was cared for my entire stay. Also my house manager Rami made my stay so much easier and more enjoyable. Rami is terrific at his job and truly cares about the people he is responsible for, he’s a great person and definitely the best house manager I’ve ever had. He went out of his way to make sure I was, and reminded, well acclimated to a new environment, and made sure that I had everything I needed to be successful in my recovery program. I also hold high regards for Tyler (upstairs) who does a lot for this place and it certainly wouldn’t run the way it does without him. Tyler held me accountable and made sure I was doing well throughout my stay which I truly appreciate, he is phenomenal at his job and has not only my respect, but that of everyone in this place!

I love Carey, she helped me with everything especially when it came to the discharge time, she assisted me with resources, and our sessions could be no better, she was the best!!  And all the facilitators were wonderful! Shawn, Lucas, Peyton, Keelin, and Christian. My therapist Misty is awesome. Operations, Kayla, Leah, and Tyler… they are wonderful. My house manager Holly, I love her! She’s on top of things and very helpful. I enjoy her smile and laugh. My band out was perfect and emotional!!! Amazing staff amazing, the whole place just amazing! He came into the program struggling with mental health and substance abuse and left with hope, and a new sense of direction. The support he received was incredible. His house manager went above and beyond, taking him to meetings almost every day, driving him to doctor appointments, and always making sure he was supported. The therapist, case manager, and operations staff were all genuinely invested in his recovery. What really stood out was the sense of community. There were always fun weekend activities planned, which helped him build healthy connections and actually enjoy sober life.  Verified My case manager Marcus has been rock solid from day 1.  He is always helpful and stays on top of important deadlines, helps me with complicated forms for my short term disability, he has really helped guide me in the right direction of a lot of really good resources ..... ...He was also the first person to tell me I have that "sobriety glow" and how much better I am doing and acting.  That was a really encouraging thing to hear and it gave me more confidence in my recovery . He's really cares about helping people and is a strong asset to have on your team.  I don't know if I would have made it this far without him! I love all of the staff here, honestly.  The facilitators are top notch.  Peyton, Lucas, Sean, Manny, Brian, Michael, Mike, Michelle, other Michelle, Dallas...I am sure I'm leaving some other important ones out but honestly they are a fantastic team.  I have worked in the addictions and treatment field myself and thought I was gonna come in here mostly knowing everything in the groups and classes, but I was wrong. I have learned so much stuff from these guys-- thoughtful content and creative ways of breaking things down...they have really changed my perspective on so much. Special thank you to Brenda  for making me feel like I found a home here. Thank you guys all for caring so much about helping your fellow humans find a better way to live. Programming was great and facilitators were even better. The structure and accountability the program has to offer really insures sobriety and was beneficial to a healthy life. Carey was my case manager and she was amazing, Tonya is a great, great counselor/ therapist; both these woman deserve huge recognition for the lives they change. The incorporation of family in the loop really helps with relationships and transparency. Leah and Kayla are instrumental to the program's operations. Lauryn was an amazing house manager that made a huge impact on my life of recovery she is so loving and makes the house feel like a home. She does her job very well they all do. I feel lucky to have been able to find this program and be a part of it. Being close to Huntington Beach was really positive for a healing environment that creates beauty within one soul. Being afraid and turning it around and learning how to deal with discomfort are only a couple of the changes and improvements I’ve felt being at Renaissance Recovery. It's difficult for me to open up and feel comfortable disclosing my vulnerability; however, since I've been at Renaissance Recovery the entire staff (I'm in the outpatient program) has been consistently friendly, professional, and supportive. Everyone I interact with has made me feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. The team took the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure I felt comfortable throughout the process. Their compassion and expertise made a meaningful difference in my experience. I'm truly grateful for the dedication of the whole staff and would highly recommend this program to anyone seeking quality care in a warm and encouraging environment. You have to put in the work, it does take time- but I'm so grateful that I'm finally feeling better about myself. I will continue to do the work and be in the program. Dr Matt & my case manager Sammy were the best , they were always there when I needed them as well as so much more of the staff. Renaissance recovery has been great I didn't start my journey with them.  I started my detox at a different facility that had a great detox house and then they had another house for IOP that wasn't so great.  They had like 20 people to that house 2 bathrooms it was for lack of a better word terrible.  So I switched treatment centers and all I can say is it was like night and day.  The houses are beautiful.  They also didn't cram us in like sardines.  There are generally about 6 to 7 people per house and then a house and then a house manager.  Much more comfortable then the first place I was at.  My experience was a little bumpy at first my first roommate snored like a dieing animal.  But I spoke up i was moved to a different house and I have no complaints.  The house I am at is about a half a block from the beach.  I feeling if you are serious about getting off of what ever your poison is this place will give you a great foundation for recovery.  I am glad to be here.  I am 70 days clean from fentanyl.  I have the rest of my life still.  I am grateful for my therapist that I have and my case manager.  I feel like I am getting the tools that I need to stay sober.  I am extremely grateful for this place being here and having a bed available for me when I called.  They have about 20 houses I believe not to sure.  I hope this message helps you in making your choice on rehab facility's take it one day at a time.

I am Stevie Mari's mom and I remember thinking when sis told me she was going to California that was a little far and crazy!!!  Then she said if I go that far I can't just come home!!!  What an amazing place this is!!!  My daughter was at her very very lowest and I did not know how to help!! I thank God everyday for the Renaissance Recovery drug& Alcohol rehab center!!!  I not only have my daughter back but she is so so much more!!!  She has always had a HUGE HEART like her grandma Connie but she lost herself for many many years!! Staff are welcoming and kind.  I would like to shout out to a few.  CAREY she is so kind, supportive and has helped me so much during my time here.  She is extremely friendly and organized made any of my caseload work easier.  She helped me fill out the correct paperwork needed for my FMLA and disability.  HOLLY , much gratitude to my house manager. Holly is supportive, great listener and has always made me smile or laugh her presence was well needed in my recovery journey, she is awesome!! And the location of my sober living house was peaceful.  VALANDA the best therapist in recovery anyone could ask for. He always had a great way of listening to me and I understanding.  I learned so much from him, from boundary setting to many coping skills. I also was able to regain myself back with understanding my addiction better.  TYLER “group time ”  super supportive and friendly staff member at Rennissance.  He is a hard worker and cares a lot about his job.  He is a beautiful reflection on positive work ethics. She’s gone above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and honest. Dr Matt was also an huge part of my recovery. The clinical facilitators were fun but also knowledgeable, I looked forward to coming here everyday. The only thing I will say is housing can be challenging. The clinical staff was so incredibly supportive. Anything I needed to make recovery journey better, they had me covered. Dr.Matt is amazing. Samantha and Tonywere the best case managers I could have asked for. But, every therapist and case manager in the building are willing to help you if you need it. Mar was such a good therapist. She challenged me to think deeper than I was and it helped so much. The group facilitators, especially at night were definitely there because they wanted to be, not for a paycheck. And last but not least, the techs. The techs I had the pleasure of knowing were incredible. At clinical, Paytan, Mike, Tommy, Heather, and Talia were always there for anything you needed. Whether it was a shoulder to cry on or for some ibuprofen, you could count on them to help. At housing, just to name a few- Jud, Tony, Buddy, Corrine, Shawana,- They were all ready to drop what they were doing to help you. And well we can't forget Nick. That man reads his messages at lightning speed, but you should really call him lol. If you need something done that the techs can't do, he's your guy. I can't mention how many times he's bent over backwards for me. Over all my experience at Renaissance was amazing. I grew so much and it was thanks to my lovely support team.

Been at Renaissance going on two weeks so far, came out of residental, and I'm adjusting well. I enjoy the groups and being able to feel open and safe speaking in groups. Marcus, case manager, is totally awesome and helpful, has helped me with solidifying my relocation to California and returning back to school. Have awesome talks with my therapist, Valanda. Houses are amazing and my house managers Matt and kevin have been super helpful. I appreciate the fact that the program offers rides up to 10miles, helpful for work. We go to meetings weekly and have outings on Saturdays which helps us to bond within the program.

ALL of my needs were covered here, from classes and facilitators to counselors and case managers all the way to my housing and house manager. This combination made recovery, fun and when things weren’t going so well or I became overwhelmed, I had the support to lift up and overcome every single obstacle. A special shout out and honorable mention to my amazing case manager Cary Yath. She went above and beyond her pay scale and her job description to help me with everything from doctors appts to transfering my union apprenticeship from Kansas City. She connected with my family back home and even when we weren’t scheduled to meet, she made time for my questions and concerns and helped me with anything and everything that came my way. Renaissance Recovery has great staff. From the case managers, therapist, psychiatrist, and house managers, it has been the greatest experience in recovery and treatment Iv ever had. Renaissance is an amazing place for Recovery. But the main point is, you HAVE to put in the work in order to get the experience.  I was there 84 day's and it took me between 70-80 day's to finally be at a Peaceful State of Mind. Going to AA 7 day's a week is very important,  plus 5 days a week in class is very important, the 12-steps as well as being involved with all of it. If you work the program you get what you put in. Renaissance change my life forever, to be a better Christian, person,  father, husband and coworker. Renaissance will always have a special place in my heart as long as I live. Thanks again to Renaissance. It's an amazing place for Recovery and don't miss out.

The caliber of the employees is unmatched by other facilities I've been to. Everyone from Techs, to therapists, group facilitators, case-managers, the clinical director. They all collaborate and meet each and every clients needs. I tend to be a bit abrasive and judgmental of places like this but my pessimistic views were stopped in there tracks by the efforts of the staff. This place made me into a new person. I am reborn and can't wait to see what life has in store for me, I will definitely be coming back as an alumni to speak and volunteer to help kn anyway I can, because they freely gave their time to save my life. It’s well run, organized, and managed by an amazing house manager, Holly, who genuinely cares. Renaissance itself is filled with friendly and helpful staff. My case manager, Ricky, has the best intentions and is dedicated to helping me succeed. I’m working with wonderful group facilitators, and my life changing therapist, Krista. I just hit 2 yrs of sobriety, and am grateful for all that I learned at Renaissance. They taught me the tools I need when ‘life gets lifey’ on me. Before going into residential, I was completely hopeless and felt like life wasn’t worth living anymore. After four weeks of residential, I was looking for a place that would give me the freedoms I needed but also provided me with a high level of care. I had heard great things about renaissance, so this is where I chose to spend the last 4 1/2 months of my healing journey. Not only are most of the group facilitators great, but the therapists, case managers, and techs are what makes renaissance special. Alisha, my case manager, has been amazingly helpful throughout my time here. Sabrina, my therapist, has helped me work through things that I had never felt comfortable talking about with other therapists. She also just got me better than any other therapist I’ve had. I would not be the hopeful, loving, and caring person that I am today without renaissance.

The staff has helped me tremendously with all my needs, and they offer so much more than other programs including rides to and from group, appointments, and work. The group facilitators are some of the best i’ve ever worked with as well. Along with that we go to outings most weekends which are all paid for. I came in with a lot of mental pain and needing healing. Through my case manager, Carey and my therapist, Valanda I was able to overcome things, I didn’t want to face. Though healing wasn’t an easy journey, they supported me throughout it all and challenged me to be the best version of me. There’s still some healing to process, but these two helped me learn to walk with my trauma instead of running from it. I will forever be grateful for my team.

I ended up staying at Renaissance for 7 months until I graduated and became apart of their team and became a house manager. All members of the team help and care about you and help you whenever you need it! If you want to be apart of a community this is the BEST place! The peers are also all very close and I can consider them all like family. The housing was very comfortable and was very welcoming. If you are looking to come for addiction or mental health treatment this will be a great choice and you will have a great experience here. Although he’s far from home, we take great comfort in knowing he’s in a place that feels safe, supportive, and home-like. The staff here are nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, it was clear that they not only know what they’re doing, but that they care deeply about each individual’s recovery. They’ve shown incredible compassion, patience, and understanding, and they’ve taken a genuine interest in our son’s sobriety and overall well-being. It’s clear to us that he’s receiving top-notch care, both emotionally and medically, and we’re already seeing positive changes. Love this place!!! It’s helped me so much and the growth you do here is amazing. Shout out to my therapist Valanda and my case manager JD they are the dream team! I wouldn’t have done it without them they are fantastic people if you get them you’re very luck you’ll do just fine. The housing for women is clean,  bright,  roomy, and safe. Clinical groups are always educational, with a mix of facilitators.  The staff,  facilitators included,  are so supportive of the clients personal recovery. I have met people here that will be in my life forever.  Thanks to everyone at Renaissance Recovery,  I am discharging to a sober living house with over 4 months sobriety.i would strongly encourage anyone with substance abuse disorder to give them a call. This place has been a huge turning point in my recovery. My case manager, Ricky, has been incredibly supportive, always going the extra mile to make sure I have what I need to stay on track. My therapist, Erika, is absolutely amazing, she has a way of helping me work through my struggles while giving me real tools to use in everyday life. All of the group facilitators here are super helpful, compassionate, and truly care about each person’s journey. I also have to give special recognition to the program director, Kolby Seager. He’s a solid man who genuinely works with everyone and does everything in his power to make recovery possible. My case manager, Marcus Harper, has been a steady and supportive presence throughout my time here. He took the time to listen, to understand my needs, and to guide me with compassion but also with accountability. With my therapist, Tonya Parker, I never felt like just another client, she made me feel heard and respected. When working with her I began to understand my own shortcomings and the impact my actions were having, not just to others, but on me as well. Her guidance has played an important role in my recovery process, and I’m deeply grateful for the work she does. The operations Lead, Chance Lyons, has been a light house that stood against the storm. He was the first person that showed me how to begin to build a fellowship that could withstand the obstacles that arise throughout life. Absolutely great program with a lot of people that help you along the way. They are constant on making the lessons educational and personal at the same time. They provide fun stuff for you to do on the weekends and make rehab enjoyable. They have a great staff too. I’ve gotten a lot of help from my case manager Ricky and the therapist they set me up with is awesome too. (Krista). Over all I give this program a 10/10.
