Does Insurance Cover Meth Rehab?

Yes, most insurances will cover a large portion of meth rehab.

If you want to check if your insurance is covered for treatment at Renaissance Recovery, use the quick-check you see beside this section.

Otherwise, you can call your rehab of choice and a coordinator will verify your insurance benefits by contacting your insurance provider.

This usually helps expedite the process and the rehab coordinator will know how to deal with the insurance provider to ensure you get the best coverage options for you based on your policy.

While insurance providers are not allowed to deny you coverage outright, they may not pay the entire expense of meth addiction treatment.

However, the rehab admissions coordinator will advise you about what part is covered under your plan, and your financial options for meth addiction treatment at a methamphetamine addiction treatment center in Orange County, CA.

Meth Detox Programs

Going through a meth detox can be a difficult, and even dangerous experience when not completed in a medically-monitored detoxification program. At-home meth detox is highly unadvisable as withdrawal symptoms can lead to hazardous or even fatal complications. Existing health disorders like heart, liver, or other issues can come to the surface and create a dangerous scenario during withdrawal symptoms.

However, with a meth program’s detox services, you or a loved one are provided with 24/7, full time care and supervision. This environment provides a safe, comfortable, and effective method of detox, and typically provides treatment services like medication-assisted treatment and mental health therapies to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Detox programs can typically provide access to further levels of addiction recovery to ensure a successful, long-term sobriety after detox. After detox, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and sober living homes can give you or your loved ones the treatments and therapies they need to help ensure that detox is never required again for methamphetamine use disorder.

Meth Detox Timeline

The timeline that occurs during meth detox can vary from person to person depending on length of use, and any co-occurring health disorders. However, you or your loved one can typically expect the following detox timeline:

Phase 1: In the first 24 hours after stopping use, the most severe withdrawal symptoms will occur. Over a period of several days, these symptoms will ease. This first phase of withdrawal symptoms can last 7-10 days usually.

Phase 2: Withdrawal symptoms begin to subside during this phase, lasting up to 2 weeks. During this time symptoms like cravings, mental health, and cognitive ability are still affected, however they begin to subside even more as the days go on.

Following these initial detox phases, it is highly recommended that patients complete a full rehab program, including inpatient and outpatient treatment. During this time, individuals will learn more about meth abuse recovery, and get the therapy and treatment they need in a meth addiction rehab, which can change a person’s life forever.

Dual Diagnosis at Meth Addiction Treatment Programs

Meth abuse presents unique challenges, withdrawal symptoms, and mental health issues. Therefore, we provide a specialized approach from therapists who understand methamphetamine addiction disorder’s connections to mental health struggles. These therapists can perform assessments to diagnose a what’s called a dual diagnosis, and provide the proper treatment for not only meth addiction, but also psychological interventions.

Upon your admission into our meth treatment program at our drug rehab in Orange County, CA, the addiction treatment staff will conduct a mental health assessment to determine the unique underlying mental health conditions contributing to your methamphetamine addiction. At our meth addiction treatment center, you will learn valuable coping skills to avoid turning to meth or other drugs in times of distress, in addition to overcoming the physical symptoms of methamphetamine addiction.
